The Artist

Gabriela Reusser

"Arts & Crafts are my way of expression and my happiness"

I am born in Switzerland in 1971, married to Andy and after living in the Netherlands for a few years, we mooved to Denmark. Our lovely home is surrounded by large gardens and it feels really inspirational. That's also where we founded our name "Kreativhuset" as in every corner of our house you will be able to find some creativity. I would be happy to show you around and may be, together we can step into the creative world.

All of my skills are self trained over the years. So please be aware that I am not a professional dressmaker, I did not study Arts or Crafts and I did also not gain great goals in the arts world. But I am enthusiastic, love materials, colours and the creating process. I am passionate about everything what can be self made and I try to spread love for Arts and Crafts.

All my products are handmade. If possible, I do use sustainable or recycling materials and a lot of products from the nature. These are shells from the beach, recycling materials and makeovers from leftovers, what ever crosses my way. My prices are as low as possible, but hey.... I do need to eat and drink and pay my bills.

Since I was a child I was always creative, be it with colours or with wool, with natural ingredients or even with words. So over the years I had the possibility to try a lot of different crafts. Thats why I work with all sorts of materials and techniques. In my Atelier you will find

  • fluid art acrylic painting
  • crocheting, knitting, makrame, weaving
  • sewing
  • hand crafts with natural ingredients as wood, shells or stones
  • candle making
  • soap making

The list is actually a never ending story and if I see something special or if I learn something new, it will automatically add to the list. Well some people may think that's crazy and may it be, but hey, I see it positive and satisfying.

Click the button, you can always find gifts to treat yourself or your best friend aswell as your husband/wife or child. If you prefer to get hands on, book yourself in to a workshop. I would love to meet you in my workshop studio.
If you wish to learn how to sew, to knit or crochet, please send me an email so we can arrange some training sessions. I am patient and willing to let you learn these things. Children are also very welcome from the age of 10.
